The residents stirred up quite a crowd around The Virginia Home’s therapeutic pool, as 39 swimmers took to the water on Dec 3rd, 4th, and 5th to raise money for local charities. The annual event, known as the Aquathon, has raised over $93,000 since its inception in 1998. Swimmers completed a total of 1, 768 laps in support of this year’s recipient, FeedMore. The Aquathon was conceived by the residents as a means for giving back to a community that has been so supportive of them. Our athletes are extremely proud to be compassionate, contributing members of our Richmond community.
