Our Success is determined by the wonderful contributions our volunteers, staff and friends give of their time and resources.

Funding

Few residents have the financial resources to completely pay for their care. For the majority, financial assistance from federal and state sources administered through Medicaid provides about two-thirds of the per diem. The balance is covered by unrestricted gifts and grants, plus income generated by The Home's Endowment Fund.

Your financial support enables our residents to live fulfilled, enriched lives.  All contributions to The Virginia Home are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and unless dedicated to a specific purpose, gifts help defray the cost of daily care for residents.  Please consider lending your support in one of the following ways:

Give directly to The Virginia Home.   Mail your contribution to the Office of Development, The Virginia Home, 1101 Hampton Street, Richmond VA  23220.  Your gift may be further increased through corporate matching gift programs;

Give through the United Way Donor Choice Program.  Our United Way code is 3020;

Give through the Combined Virginia Campaign for State of Virginia employees.  Our CVC code is 3744;

Give via credit card donation through GiveRichmond.  Click on www.GiveRichmond.org and choose The Virginia Home to make a secure online gift;
